The Masaryk University Language Centre is organising a Colourful Czech course for students at elementary level. The course is aimed at students who accomplished first level of Colourful Czech or foreigners with Czech language on level A1. It is open to students as well as to the public.
The teacher uses a variety of communicative activities to reach fast speaking progress and focuses on acquisition of the speaking, understanding and writing competence equivalent to the A1+ level. The exercises are designed to help students overcome their initial shyness and acquire the basics of Czech. Focus is on communication at school, on the street, in restaurants and shops. The method “Barevná čeština” (Colourful Czech) prioritizes the functional language against its formal composition.
