Academic communication is a 5-day intensive training course attended by international participants (academic and non-academic staff), but is also open to other participants from public.

The goals of the course:
The main purpose of this training course is to provide you with handy tips and techniques, which can be used in your everyday life in interactions with others or even with yourself. The training course will focus on communication complexly - from the individual through the teams, groups and up to whole university or public. We will be focusing on differences between us, similarities and connections as well, verbal, but also non-verbal language, online communication, team effectiveness and many other topics. We will go step-by-step, ending up with the every part of the week clicking into each other. Participants will be actively involved in all the processes, interact and be constantly challenged in the learning process, working in a safe environment.

Designed for anyone interested in actively working on themselves, improving their speech or presentation.
Course content:
The program of the training course will be very interactive and will include topics and activities like: personality types, team roles, team efficiency and group dynamics, communication model and channels, non-violent communication, assertiveness, active listening techniques, feedback.

The fee is paid in 2 instalments:
1st instalment: 200 EUR (to be paid by 10th May 2022, in order to ensure your place in the group)
2nd instalment: 150 EUR (to be paid one week prior to the start of the training course at the latest)
*Covid-19 online form: in case Covid-19 measures will not allow us to meet in person, the fee would be only 200 EUR.
It is possible to use grant support (e.g. from Erasmus Staff Mobility) to cover the participation fee.
