  • Aspects of Good Manufacturing Practice Automation and Integration of AI

    This course, titled “Aspects of GMP/ATMP Automation and Integration of AI”, provides essential fundamental knowledge about the automated manufacturing of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMP). At the end of the course, there will be a multiple-choice test. You will pass the test if you achieve the required number of points. A certificate will then be issued as international proof of successful completion of the course. We wish you success and hope you enjoy the course.

      This course provides an introduction to GMP automation (especially ATMP) and the integration of AI: 
      •    Basics on ATMP manufacturing;
      •    Principles of automation of ATMP manufacturing;
      •    Presentation of examples of devices for (semi-)automated production of ATMP;
      •    Principles of possible AI integration and the use of digital twins.

      • The course is divided into parts and covers the following topics: 
        1.     General principles:
        •    What are ATMP and how are they manufactured manually vs automatically?
        •    What kind of devices already exist?

        2.     Optimization:
        •    How can automation be optimized?
        •    How can AI and digital twins be integrated?
