Note: Students who – in their M.A. study programme in Special Education - select the major in Speech Therapy are required to select from courses in the group A (section 1 – Speech Therapy) and courses from the group B (section B1 – Education of Individuals with Hearing Impairment). If a student selects the course Education of Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities belonging to the group A (section A2), he/she selects courses from the group B according to his/her preferred major in his/her future M.A. study programme.
The thematic areas of FSE focus on obtaining an overview and basic knowledge on the issues of inclusive and special education and pathopsychology. Further, it focuses on the following competencies of students: to master assistant work as teacher assistants (speech therapy assistants) in education, to have communication skills, to apply approaches to education of children with special educational needs, mainly with the focus on children with impaired communication and hearing impairment.

Student will select courses Speech Therapy (section A1) or Education of Individuals with Intellectual Disabiities (section A2).
