Abstract
Main objectives of otorhinolaryngologic course are to give information about applied anatomy and physiology of head and neck and to teach students basic principles of diagnosis and treatment of head and neck diseases.
Learning outcomes
After completing lectures student will be able: - to do basic otorhinolaryngologic assessment - to recognize normal finding in evaluated person - to suggest another medical tests in any pathology - to suggest basic treatment

Doc. MUDr. B. Gál, PhD.: Endoscopic rhinosurgery. Diagnostic algorithm and surgical treatment of sleep disorders. The lecture introduces the principles of endoscopic surgery of the nose and paranasal sinuses, as well as the diagnostic algorithm and treatment of sleep disorders.

Doc. MUDr. B. Gál, PhD., MUDr. Miroslav Veselý PhD.: Implantable systems for hearing rehabilitation. The lecture deals with the indications and surgery of cochlear implants and bone conduction implants.

Doc. MUDr. B. Gál, PhD., As. MUDr. Tereza Hložková: Thyroid diseases. This lecture provides a comprehensive overview of thyroid diseases, their diagnosis, and treatment.

Prof. MUDr. I. Šlapák: Primary tumors of the orbit. Secondary tumors of the orbit. The lecture discusses the principles of diagnosis and treatment of orbital tumors.

Doc. MUDr. P. Smilek, PhD.: Fundamentals of oncology in the ENT area I.-IV: Discusses general notes on head and neck tumors, as well as tumors of the nose and PND, pharynx, and larynx.

As. MUDr. Klára Perce.: Developmental defects of the larynx. The lecture deals with the diagnosis and treatment of developmental defects of the larynx.

As. MUDr. Michaela Máchalová: Life-threatening conditions in pediatric otorhinolaryngology. The lecture deals with life-threatening conditions in pediatric patients: Stenosing laryngitis, foreign bodies in the respiratory and swallowing tracts, trauma in the respiratory tract.
